As I write, we are completing one of the most difficult 12 month periods in the history of the financial markets. Around the country and around the world, many firms and many reps have failed or left the business. Despite these conditions, NEXT Financial Group is entering our second decade strong. Through NEXT, NFISCO, WE2 and 4Ward Financial Marketing we are continuing to improve our product and service offerings to serve you and your clients.
The last six months have been our greatest period of recruiting in our history as more and more representatives come to see the value of the firm you have created. Perhaps the most important sign of our strength is that your spirit, conviction and commitment remain intact as evidenced by the participation and enthusiasm exhibited at our 2009 National Sales Conference. I am confident as we look back at this difficult period in the context of history we will see it is a time when we collectively and individually took our practices and our firm to unprecedented levels of success.
